Have you ever been really excited to start a new project, purchased the materials, then start having second thoughts on what you are about to do?    Ug!   I hate that!    Its happening to me now.   I’m almost done finishing up a dining room set for a client and have been wanting to try my hand at making a farmhouse table.   I have a bunch of ideas on how to do it on the cheap – and I will share them all I promise!    Yesterday I purchased reclaimed wood for the top and its not as thick as I wanted it to be.  Its pine, wide plank and has a lot of character, but its only .75″ thick.  I wanted something heftier but the salvage shop didn’t have exactly what I was looking for, unless I wanted something 1.5″ thick, which I thought would be too thick for the small space where it will go into.  I dunno….   Maybe I should have gotten the thick planks?   Gak!   The materials are in my garage (and non-returnable)    I think I need to see a skeleton of  what I have to make a final call.   I’ll mock it up next week and see how it looks together.   I just hate this indecisiveness stage!
