When Karen (aka “The Graphics Fairy”) posted this image earlier this summer, I knew I had to turn it into a sign! Combine that with Miss Mustardseed’s new summer color “Dried Lavender” and presto! This is what I came up with:
To create this sign I went on http://www.blockposters.com to enlarge the image. Then I traced the enlarged shape onto my pine plank and used my jigsaw to cut it out.
The wood that I use is reclaimed knotty pine, so it has a lot of knots and character.
I made up a smaller version of these signs to put in my etsy shop. Below you’ll find a Typewriter (black) sign and another Dried Lavender sign.
I plan to make a couple more to bring to Lucketts Winter mini-Market November 8-10. What colors do you think I should use?
Thanks for stopping by!
