Hi everyone

I have been super busy getting ready for the Lucketts Holiday Open House (Nov 8-9-10)  Lucketts will be hosting 60 vendors in addition to their amazing store and  Design House.    If you haven’t seen a sneak peek of their design house take a look!     It looks so beautiful!

Many of the signs I will be bringing to the event will be Christmas and Winter themed signs.   This one features a sweet Poinsettia Fairy.

I must admit that painting faces is not my forte.   My 15 year old daughter helped me when I got stuck with her profile.   I’m glad she did!  The fairy ended up looking adorable and cherub like.

I painted the reclaimed pine plank using Miss Mustardseed’s Milk Paint.   I love how chippy it turned out!    The adorable fairy is from the Graphics Fairy’s website (of course!)  and the lettering is an old toy store ad also from the Graphics Fairy.   I used a projector to trace the images onto the plank.   Everything was then hand painted using acrylic paint and topped off with a furniture wax topcoat.

If you’re at the Lucketts Holiday Open House please drop by and say “Hi!”

Hope to see you there!
